The Zoo

Rudi looks as his picture is taken.

The little elephant playing with a ball. He has dirt all over his legs.

This little guy made us laugh lot as he

played with a piece of fabric.

He would pull on weeds and then fall backwards.

Time to play with the turtle.

The Flamigoes enjoying the day.

At the zoo we were able to meet two new baby monkeys. We had a 45 minute tour and we were able to learn about the primates. The monkeys are always fun to watch. We watched Rudi the orangatang. He just looked as I took his picture up close. The other little monkey got a turtle and began to play with him. At first we looked away because we knew that we could not do anything but then the orangatang lost interest in the turtle. The turtle flipped itself over while the orangatang found other things to do. The flamigos are so beautiful to look at. Their legs are so thin and there feathers all nice and fluffy. They seem to be enjoying each others company. The elephants are one of my favorite animals. They are so beautiful with long eye lashes. The new exhibit allowed us to view them in a different atmosphere. These animals are very strong and amazing.
